Have you heard? Upcoming music festivals announce lineups

​As summer approaches, tickets for the festival season are becoming available. Don’t miss your chance to attend these annual music events:

Bonnaroo is an annual four-day music festival on a campsite in Nashville, TN, according to bonnaroo.com. Last year, the music festival hosted 80,000 spectators and over 40 artists, including Paul McCartney, Empire of the Sun, Jack Johnson and Haim. Bonnaroo 2014 will be held June 12–15. The lineup will be released on Feb. 19 on bonnaroo.com; tickets are now on sale at bonnaroo.com.

From June 6–8, the Governor’s Ball will be hosted on Randall’s Island in New York, rain or shine, according togovernorsballmusicfestival.com. Over 60 acts will perform, including The Strokes, Skrillex, Vampire Weekend and Outkast. Tickets are nonrefundable and can be purchased at governorsballmusicfestival.com; payment plans are available.

Good Morning America hosts an annual concert series in Central Park beginning in late May and ending in August, according to cititour.com. Every Friday, a different artist performs from 7–9 a.m.; among last year’s performers were Mariah Carey and Imagine Dragons, according to gma.yahoo.com. Admission is free. According to cititour.com, the 2014 performers are not yet announced.

The Vans Warped Tour will be hosted in Holmdel on July 6 and Camden on July 11, according to vanswarpedtour.com; the tour begins in June and ends in August, hitting over 30 points in North America on its route. The lineup includes Breathe Carolina, Mayday Parade and The Story So Far, and tickets are available at ticketmaster.com.
