As everyone knows, the best things come from England: royal weddings, Skins, Mr. Bean, the BBC and red double-decker buses, just to name a few.

Lighter Side
So after the birth of the new boy band One Direction in the seventh season of X-Factor, America was ready to indulge in another English trend.
No offense to the boys of Dream Street, but One Direction has taken “dreamy” in a totally new direction. And while no one could replace Harry’s windswept brown locks—the way that he flips his hair gets me overwhelmed—if I joined the band, I know I could make 1D the fetchest group in Europe.
The boys sport hip styles such as red pants and stylish suspenders, and I know I would blend right in if I threw on a v-neck and cardigan.
What’s more, I would fake a British accent like the best of them. (Watch out, Adele, here comes One Direction.)
So my dream is to become the sixth member of this elite band. After I go viral on YouTube, I know they’ll give me a call. Until then, I will sit right here by the phone.
Waiting anxiously…
