Project X-venture alarms

by Sam Bromberg

According to my schedule, tomorrow is my first day of Project Adventure in Freshman Gym. I’ve always been really into P.E., so I was looking forward to some intense high school competition. But this is taking it way too far. I mean, I’ve seen the movie and everything that happens at that party, and I just think this is a little too cutthroat.

I have no idea what we will be doing. Will the teachers be lining us up on the roof of the building and making us jump off into a moonbounce? Or forcing us to set the soccer field on fire? Or stealing yard gnomes to play Capture the Flag?

Rumor has it this class is really extreme.  I heard that last year, one of the school’s neighbors called the police because the class was too loud and crazy while her child was trying to sleep.

I was expecting a nice game of dodgeball or deck hockey, not this insanity. Honestly, I knew high school was crazy but this is a whole other world. I thought  geometry would be my biggest challenge, but I guess my health and survival trumps that.
So, hopefully I will make it through first period gym class alive. I hear tomorrow we’re ziplining into the legendary third floor pool.
