Releases Rock 2015

The new year has come and it is full of excitement and promise. Here are new releases to look out for that will hopefully make this a great 2015.
Music
Some music artists this year are holding fans in suspense for their newest albums, while others will taunt us with sneak peeks and details. Rihanna plans to drop her eighth studio album this year after she surprised her fans by not releasing it in November 2014 and leaking a song from the album earlier this month, according to musictimes.com. Adele plans to release her third studio album this year, but is withholding the date and the title,  according to highsociety.com. Also, Panda Bear, an experimental musician, has planned to release his new album, Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper, on Jan. 13, according to highsociety.com. In the rap genre, Kid Cudi plans to release his third Man on The Moon album this year, according to highsociety.com.
 Tech
Technology is expected to have a big year, according to pcmag.com. The Oculus Rift, a 360-degree virtual reality video game system that is worn on the head like glasses, is planned to be mass produced and fully available to the public this year after much atticipation from the gaming community. Additionally, Apple plans to release its new Apple Watch, which is designed to connect to all social media and other Apple products, sometime during the spring. While the newest form of Google Glass,  a miniature wearable computer, is planned to be mass produced and fully available in the U.S. later this year.
 Movies
Movie lovers can expect a variety of movies to choose from this year, according to movieinsiders.com. There are two movie sequels based on famous young adult dystopian series, The Maze Runner and Divergent, slated for this year: Divergent: Insurgents, on March 20, and The Scorching Trail, in September. Also, there is more from Marvel with Avengers: Age of Ultron, to be released on May 1, and Ant-man, released on July 7. In addition, there are three major science-fiction movies to be released this year:  Jupiter Ascending on Feb. 6, Jurassic World on June 13 and Star Wars: The Force Awakens on Dec. 18.
 Books
This year, will be a good year for lovers of young adult fiction book readers according to goodreads.com. Author Richelle Mead is expected to release her sixth and final book in her Bloodline series, titled The Ruby Circle, on Feb. 10. Additionally, Susan Ee is planning to release the final book in her trilogy series Penryn & End of Days on May 12, titled End of Days, and Author Marissa Meyer’s new book Winter, part of her series Cinder, is planned for release on Nov. 24. Finally, Cassandra Claire will be releasing the first book in her new series Dark Artifices in September. Titled Lady Midnight, the novel focuses on a new shadowhunter named Emma Carstairs in present day Los Angeles.
