It was the first time our team had ever beaten them in history and they hadn’t lost a meet in five years! The meet also named us the Star Ledger #1 team in NJ which is a really big deal. I still get the chills when I think about that day. We were so nervous to swim them and we won 87-83 in the last relay! I don’t think I had ever seen my coach cry until that day.”
