The boys soccer team defeated SPF 1–0 on Tuesday in double overtime. Below are a few highlights:
-In the second half, senior Tri-Captain Zach Sheil’s shot from 30 yards out hit the crossbar, leaving the game scoreless.
-Junior goalie Koryn Kraemer made a diving save to bring the game into overtime.
-In overtime, junior Austin Kronick dove in front of the goal to save what would have been the winning goal for SPF.
-In the second overtime, senior Alik Morgan faked out the SPF goalie and scored, giving WHS the victory.
