In a unanimous vote, the BOE authorized the creation of a bond referendum to fund a turf field with lights behind WHS. The field will be used by the physical education classes, the boys and girls soccer and lacrosse teams, the field hockey team, the softball team and the marching band, as well as various town sports leagues.
