Faces in the crowd is a recurring feature in which Hi’s Eye selects random members of the WHS community to interview. This week we chose a dedicated volunteer, Zoe Federbusch.
Zoe says that when she does volunteer work she feels more appreciative for what she already has because she has seen less fortunate people.
Her most memorable experience was running a kids camp in Costa Rica. With her group, she brought the kids lunch and did various activities with them.
Her favorite part of volunteering is seeing how grateful the people are for what she and her fellow volunteers do.
Last week, Zoe went on a service trip to New Orleans with Temple Emanu-el, where she organized food with the use of a conveyer belt at a food bank.
